Achievements
In 2009, KLRC participated in the National Task Force on Police Reforms and the Police Reforms implementation Committee which came up with five Bills including the National Police Service Bill.
The National Police Service Act, National Police Service Commission Act and The National Police Oversight Authority Act have all been enacted. The new Police Acts will ensure the emergence of a professional Police Service that will play a critical role in ensuring improved security for faster socio- economic development.
