The Kenya Law Reform Commission in collaboration with other stakeholders launched a guide to the legislative process in Kenya. The Guide aimed at facilitating quality legislation is meant for use by legislative drafters, policy makers, administrators and all parties involved in the legislative process in Kenya (National and County Governments) and across the region.
The simplified and user friendly guide will facilitate ease of understanding, efficiency and adequate participation by all parties to meaningfully appreciate and contribute to the legislative process. Some of the best practices and standards that need to be observed during the process have been highlighted. This will enhance law reform that is conducive to social, economic and political development in Kenya.
